Mrs. Achlama Peretz, the wife of former Defense Minister Amir Peretz, has rented a building in Sderot which she intends to convert to her campaign headquarters. Contractors are working on converting the building, previously used for a kindergarten, to ready it for the campaign launch after Pesach.

The veteran Sderot resident has decided to make the move, to enter the local political arena, and it appears she will hold a formal press conference announcing her decision after Pesach (Passover).
