A man was killed at a construction site in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, on Wednesday morning.
The incident happened at around 11:20AM at 859 Myrtle Avenue, at a large construction site.
According to information available, a metal wall panel fell off a forklift, pinning the worker underneath.
Williamsburg Hatzolah Paramedics, along with the FDNY found the man in traumatic arrest.
He was transported by EMS to Woodhull Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The victim was identified by police as 44-year-old Over Paredes, of Patterson Street in Newark, NJ.
An investigation into the incident is underway by the NYPD and NYC Building Department.

This is right near where I work. There’s construction taking place, on almost every block. It’s so unsafe for pedestrians. Plus people space out on their phones when walking by.
