Noam, a resident of Jerusalem who came to the Café Ne’eman branch near his home, on 49 Jaffa Street in Jerusalem, was surprised to discover that many roaches roam freely among the pastries on one of the shelves. Noam documented the nuisance and asked the seller to throw out the goods – but he refused.
Noam decided to document the roaches roaming freely between the trays and the seller’s response, asking him to contact the manager – who was elsewhere.
“It’s a shame that they continue to sell,” Noam told Online News. “Everyone was shocked, all the customers were in shock and ran away.”
The company’s statement: The chain does not compromise on the issue of sanitation, cleanliness and freshness of products, and each of the branches conducts a strict daily inspection. The management of the Ne’eman Bakery is disturbed by the problem, apologizes to the customers and will do everything in order that G-d forbid there is no similar case in the future”.
