A 19-year-old chassidish male was badly burned on his upper torso in Bnei Brak on Tuesday, 5 Kislev, apparently the result of playing with matches, although, it is unclear if he was playing or planned to use them for some reason and had an accident.
Whatever the case may be, MDA and United Hatzalah responded, and the young man suffered third degree burns to 20% of his upper body and was transported to a hospital by MDA paramedics while intubated and sedated.
