Security Vehicle Fire-Bombed in Jerusalem


A security vehicle was firebombed in Jerusalem today. The incident occurred in the area by the Shiloach spring known as Silwan by Muslim residents. The vehicle was on patrol around a Jewish enclave in the area when terrorists from east Jerusalem threw three molotov cocktails at the vehicle.

As a result of the fire-bombs, the vehicle sustained damage but thankfully no one inside  the vehicle was hurt. In addition, a fire broke out nearby due to the explosion. Both the fire and the flames on the car were extinguished quickly by the security.

Israeli security forces gave chase to the assailants and have opened up an ongoing investigation into the incident.
