The NYPD is investigating a motor vehicle accident that killed a 27-year-old man.

Police say they responded to a 911 call of an accident in front of 226-06 Francis Lewis Blvd. in Queens. They found the driver of a Nissan Murano unconscious and unresponsive with severe trauma.

He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police say the victim was traveling eastbound when he lost control of his car and struck a tree.

His name was withheld pending family notification.
