SHE ADMITS MAKING FALSE ALLEGATIONS: GOP Chairman Refers Kavanaugh Accuser For Criminal Probe

The Senate Judiciary Committee chairman wants a criminal investigation of a woman who said she wrote an anonymous letter alleging misconduct by now-Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, but later recanted authorship and admitted she didn’t know him.

Sen. Chuck Grassley tells the Justice Department that Judy Munro-Leighton contacted his committee in October and claimed she wrote the letter, which arose during Kavanaugh’s confirmation process. The Iowa Republican says that under questioning from the committee, she said she never met Kavanaugh and didn’t write the letter.

Kavanaugh has denied all the allegations against him.

President Donald Trump seized on the issue at a Montana rally Saturday, calling it a “disgrace.”

Grassley last month also requested a criminal investigation into another Kavanaugh accuser, Julie Swetnick, and her attorney, Michael Avenatti.

  1. The little rino pipsqueak, Jeff Sessions, will make sure nothing happens to any of those bimbo’s. Jeff’s main goal is to undermine President Trump and hurt the Republican Party. So much for our AG.

  2. What about all the others who stuck by the accusations, and the main one even passed a lie detector test? Why focus on this one and ignore all the other who never go properly investigated?

  3. Por, a lie detector is not a guaranteed method to find out the truth.
Her testimony was plann d and prepared for many months and top Democrat lawyers and was carefully to constructed to deny him the ability to prove it wrong. Simple: no time, no place and no date. In Jewish law, and if the Republicans had a little more resolve, the would have told her “listen ma’am we feel bery bad for you. However with out any date, time, place, or corroboration, we can’t help you. ״. It’s call עדות שאי אתה יכול להזימה . That is invalid.
By the way, you want me gem to keep questioning people but the people they did question, contradicted her!

  4. Hey por
Are you referring to the ACCUSER who lied under oath about never training someone how to pass a lie detector test and then turns out she helped an FBI friend train to pass a lie detector test. The same FBI friend who tried to convince one of the alleged witness who debunked the accusers testimony to change her story
    give me a break!

  5. Note that this was not the person who testified to the Senate. This was a late-arriving accusation, which the Democratic establishment did not take seriously enough to ask to testify. The headline seems aimed to create the impression that the main “accuser” is the one being investigated.

This headline does not represent journalism at its best.

  6. The ones who have stuck by their lies are just as guilty, but not as easily convicted. Ford’s “lie detector test” was a joke. Polygraphy in general is worthless, junk science, but there’s a qualitative difference between a “real” polygraph test and what this Ford liar took, like the difference between a carefully drafted horoscope prepared by a professional astrologer and those stupid newspaper horoscopes. Both are junk, but one is at least high quality junk.

“the main one even passed a lie detector test? ”

You mean the lie detector test paid for by her own lawyers given in a hurry (show-horned in between appointments) consisting of a grand total of two ambiguous yes/no questions? Given to a self-describe d psychologist whose ex-boyfriend submitted that he personally had witnessed her giving advice on how to “beat” a lie detector test? That “lie detector” test?

I wonder who these “all the others who stuck by the accusations” could be, seeing as reports are that three retracted completely and the fourth at least partially. How about names (or at least aliases).

  8. @POR:
    Are you serious????????????
I think CNN has job for you!!!!!
And before you accept your new job, just get a crash course from the idiot accuser how to pass a lie detector.

  9. We smart Americans are stepping up to the plate this Tuesday and retaliating, with the biggest imaginable punishment:- Massive gains for Republicans, and massive losses for Democrats.

  10. slander (false accusations) should be punished by real jail time.

she tried to ruin him, let the state ruin her! eye for an eye!
