Tens of thousands of Degel Hatorah supporters were on hand for a rally in the streets of Bnei Brak on Sunday evening, with Municipal Election Day on Tuesday, 21 Marcheshvan. The event was headed by Maranan Rabbanan Gedolei Torah Shlita, backing the election of Avraham Rubinstein as mayor of Bnei Brak along with the Degel Hatorah ticket, Gimmel, for city council.

Both HaGaon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky Shlita and HaGaon HaRav Gershon Edelstein Shlita did make an appearance.

Among the other rabbonim present were the members of the Degel Hatorah Moetzas Gedolei Torah; HaGaon HaRav Hirsch, HaGaon HaRav Bergman, HaGaon HaRav Povarsky, HaGaon HaRav Zilberstein and HaGaon HaRav Gilai. MKs from Degel Hatorah were also present, as were the mayor and deputy mayor.
