The cabinet in the coming weeks will most likely vote to close the Office of Strategic Planning which is only staffed by a small number since the resignation of its head, Minister of Strategic Planning Avigdor Lieberman, who National Union Party left the coalition.

Some of the staff will move to the National Security Council or other agencies while others will leave the public sector.
