The IDF Spokesman’s Office confirms reports that on Tuesday, Rosh Chodesh Nissan 5773 two Israel Air Force fighter planes were scrambled amid fears that an Egyptian passenger airliner was breaking into Israeli airspace. Walla News reports that the planes returned to base without incident as the plane continued on route and did not at any time enter into Israeli airspace.
