An El Al flight heading from Tel Aviv to Ukraine turned back to Tel Aviv about one-hour into the flight yesterday.

The pilot made the decision to return home after experiencing difficulty with the plane’s radar system. El Al officials reported the malfunction was repaired but nonetheless, the flight was detained to permit a more thorough inspection of the aircraft.
