YouTube, the second most visited site on the world wide web, experienced a worldwide outage on Tuesday night.
Users first reported the problem around 9:15PM ET, and it took until around 10:50PM ET for it to be resolved.
During the outage, the image attached below was seen in place of the numerous YouTube videos embedded in YWN stories.
There was no available explanation for the outage.
In reply to a query from the AP, an unsigned message from Google’s press team stated, “We don’t have anything to add beyond the tweet.”
