With the anticipated arrival of US Secretary of State Dr. Condoleezza Rice in the coming days, Israel is once again preparing to reduce security restrictions on Palestinian Authority residents in an effort to exhibit Jerusalem’s sincerity to reach a diplomatic agreement with the PA to the United States.

This includes the removal of numerous checkpoints located in Yehuda and Shomron, a move that many residents of yishuvim insist compromises their security at the expense of alleged political gain.
