A woman in her thirties was shot and killed inside her apartment inside an apartment in Netanya. Police are investigating the circumstances behind the shooting, but from initial reports it is criminal in nature.
Emegency medical services that arrived at the scene were forced to pronounce the woman’s death after they attempted to resuscitate her. Magen David Adom ambulance teams and United Hatzala volunteers attempted to treat the woman, but there was nothing that they could due.
Magen David Adom Paramedic Osheri Yitzchak related: “When we entered the apartment we found a 30-year-old woman unconscious with signs of having suffered violence to her upper body. We conducted initial medical exams at the scene but she had no life signs and there was nothing for us to do except to pronounce her death.”
Volunteers from United Hatzalah’s Psychotrauma and Crisis Response Unit are heading to help provide emotional support and stabilization for the woman’s children who were in the apartment during the incident.
