Chazzan Yitzchak Meir Helfgott recited “Kail Malei Rachamaim” at the JFK airport Levaya of his mentor, famed Israeli composer and Maestro Dr. Mordechai Sobol Z”L, who was suddenly Niftar at the age of 67.

As YWN had reported on Sunday, Sobol suffered a massive stroke in Atlanta just after Rosh Hashanah. He was the Chazan in a Shul there for the Yomim Noraim.

The Niftar was being flown back to Eretz Yisroel for a Levaya and Kevura.
