At least six Kassam Rockets were fired at Israel on Purim day – sending scores of people out delivering Mishloach Manos running for cover. At least three rockets slammed into Sderot, but Boruch Hashem there was no one injured, and no damages were reported.
Meanwhile, a 14-year-old boy was seriously wounded near Chevron on Thursday night when terrorists detonated an explosive device near the vehicle he was traveling in. IDF forces were mobilized and conducted searches throughout the night – but no arrests were made.
The boy, who was wounded in the leg was evacuated to Hadassa Ein Kerem Hospital in Yerushalayim – where he was listed in serious but stable condition.
The closure on PA area residents throughout Yehuda and Shomron continues as Purim is underway. Terror warnings continue to compel security agencies to remain on a state of heightened alertness, and police call on all residents to exhibit increased vigilance and report anything or anyone suspicious immediately.
