Family members of Shas Minister of Religious Services, David ben Perla Azoulai, call on am yisrael to be mispallel on his behalf. Azoulai is admitted to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital, where he is fighting a difficult illness. An atzeres tefilla was called for Tuesday evening, 24 Elul, at Kever Rochel.

On Monday night, Minister Aryeh Deri briefed the media on his condition, explaining “We need a great deal of tefilos for my friend David Azoulai, who is in need of Rachmei Shomayim. Baruch Hashem, his condition has stabilized but he is in need of tefilos. I call on friends to be mispallel for his refuah. The biggest thing is tefilos of friends”.

In March YWN reported that Azoulai submitted his resignation from the Knesset due to a medical illness. He handed his seat to his son Yinon. He continued serving in his cabinet post.
