HaGaon HaRav Nachum Lava (לבה), one of the Roshei Yeshiva in Yeshivas Orchos Torah in Bnei Brak, as well as being affiliated with Yeshivas Beis Matisyahu, was transported to a hospital from his home on Monday morning, 23 Elul, after suffering a cardiac incident.

According to reports, the rav appears to have suffered a heart attack, and was transported to Mayanei HaYeshua Hospital in Bnei Brak. The rav, who is 67, is known to be among the prominent talmidei chachamim in the city.

Immediately upon his arrival at the hospital, it was determined that an urgent cardiac catheterization was required.

The tzibur is asked to be mispallel for his recovery – Nachum Betzalel ben Golda Zahava Rivka for a refuah shleima bsoch sha’ar cholei yisrael.
