On Friday, 20 Elul, border police responded to a call for assistance placed with the Israel Police 100 emergency call center. A report was received of an Israeli man who entered a PA (Palestine Authority) area of Hebron, which led to an immediate and determined response. Troops in the area were dispatched immediately, amid an awareness the Israeli was or would soon be in life-threatening danger.
According to reports, the man was seen in the Abu Sheenah area of PA-occupied Hebron, and he was being surrounded by vehicles and Palestinian residents.
Border police arrived on the scene and B’chasdei Hashem, extricated the man unharmed, a Bnei Brak resident in his 20s.
This once again highlights the falsehood of the myth that PA residents wish to live side-by-side in peace and harmony with Israeli neighbors. While PA residents are free to enter and work in Israeli communities and yishuvim, an Israel may not enter a PA area, and by doing so, one will quickly find oneself in life-threatening danger.

How come you didn’t mentioned that there was a good arab Samaritan that rescued the yeshiva guy from the mad mob ? the police way later btw, if it wasn’t because of that good arab Samaritan that saved him the police would have just come to pick up the body pieces R”L. there are good people even by the Arabs after all, you really don’t report the real story, typical news outlet. Be fair, when they attack they deserve to be shot, but when they safe a jewish life it needs to be acknowledged.
It depends. If someones agenda is to be pro zionist… there goes
Really, all 100,000 Arabs in Hebron attacked the man? How do you like it when all the Jews get blamed for the actions of a few?
RJ – I agree with your comment. Just want to point out the the term ‘good samaritan’ comes from the Xtian bible and is actually quite an anti-Jewish sentiment. YWN has also used this term recently. We must not use it – the Samaritans were terrible people who tried to destroy us and our Torah
Reminds me of the time a few years ago when an Israeli found himself in similar circumstances, He told the Arab mob – “I must see Jibril RaJoub” They thought he was sent by the Israeli government on secret business so he received an armed escort to Jibril Rajoub- head of the area. When Rajoub asked him why he had come he said “it was the only way I could get away from the lynch!’ Boruch Hashem- he was saved and transferred back into Israel….
Worth remembering the tactic…..
Boruch Hashem this guy was saved as well
The defense of Arabs in the comments are so weird. Arabs walk around all over Israel and no one has to save them from Israelis and here they were saved by one good Arab and therefore commenters are defending the Arabs that they are not so bad. Really?! Because there are a few good men among them the Arabs are ok even if Jews are lynched on Arab streets?!
