Two people were injured on Sunday afternoon, when the ATV they were riding on overturned in South Fallsburg.
Catskills Hatzolah was on the scene at “Happy Acres Bungalows” located on Westwood Drive at around 2:30PM. Two victims were on the ATV when it overturned.
Both were in stable condition, and were transported by Catskills Hatzolah to Catskill regional Medical Center.
There have been multiple ATV accident this summer in the Catskills. Some victims suffered serious injuries and were airlifted to trauma centers.

I thought that A TV is not good for you
I don’t know if it’s the vehicle that’s so unsafe, as much as it is with people terribly inexperienced driving them.
UncleMo, I think you are point on. In many cases I don’t think they have experience operating those vehicles and/or are knowingly being risky and disobeying the rules and recommendations of the manual. No helmet on either. It seems like at least once or twice every summer does this type of accident occur.
