A 20-year-old girl was struck by a car on Tuesday afternoon – while she was walking in a cross-walk by the entrance to the Ramot-Polin neighborhood in Jerusalem. She was seriously injured and was given medical care by the volunteers of Hatzolah Israel.
She was evacuated by Magen David Adom medics with head wounds to the trauma unit of Hadassah Ein Kerem.
The car that was involved in the accident was decorated with ribbons clearly indicating that it was on the way to pick up a Choson or Kallah.
