In a planned publicity stunt, supporters of the Machane Tzioni opposition party were in the Knesset balcony on Wednesday, 27 Menachem Av.

During a podium address by party member and opposition leader MK Tzipi Livni, they stood up and pulled out copies of the Israeli Declaration of Independence, which they began waving frantically, explaining the current Likud-led coalition is “tearing up the Israeli society” with its policies.
