Reply To: The military parade scheduled for November

Our president and his party support cutting benefits to current military and veterans to the tune of $154 B over 10 years. (Per their proposed budget.) Among the programs cut are veterans job training for both abled and disabled military, cuts to active military family benefits, including housing allowances and medical care. In 2015 nearly 1.5 million veterans and their families were dependent on SNAP benefits with the current administration plans on slashing. I cite these numbers because it seems our active military and retired military would best be served by the administration supporting their needs and not wasting $$ on a Soviet style parade.
