A large police force appeared on Sunday morning, 24 Menachem Av, at 14 Ezra Street in Yerushalayim, reportedly making another arrest in connection with the investigation surrounding the tearing down of election signs from Egged buses showing a woman, candidate MK Rachel Azariya.
Police blocked the entrance to the building as they went to arrest another suspect, reportedly an avreich.
Arrests have been made in past weeks, since the first vandalism attack, and police indicate that they plan to prosecute all involved, with some being minors. All the suspects appear to be chareidim from the Geula/Meah Shearim area.

Yup these cops are doing exactly what they wanted to do from the beginning arrest frum yidden—they know which busses go through the frum neighborhood and know they don’t like the pics of woman but they do it on purpose in order to arrest them.. very sad whats going on.
big deal so they tore down a picture of an ugly woman who had no brains for putting her picture on buses that go through an area that does not like her politics nor her face.
Let the police go after real crime instead.
Electrify the signs so that next time this is attempted the perpetrators will get shocked!
@skops, @kugel, and other like (simple) minded folks here. There is something called a LAW. Companies pay money to advertise on buses. If you dont like what you see, DON’T LOOK. I am aware that when it comes to you nut jobs, laws, like stop signs, red lights, no parking and no standing signs are merely suggestions. If you tried any of this crap in America, you would be arrested and fined.
@BoysWork, you crack me up. Obeying ‘laws’ of these lawless wicked? They are Jews just like you and me and have 613 laws to follow. let them be role models and we’ll follow their laws!
the pictures are modest by normal halakhic standards. it is possible that the picture might excite animals, which would explain the behavior. i cannot imagine a better explanation.
