War Simulation Exercise in the IDF’s Northern Command


On Thursday morning, a large-scale military exercise was concluded to evaluate and improve the level of preparedness of troops in the Northern Command and the General Staff.

IDF officials explained that the objective of the exercise was to improve the Northern Command’s ability to fight, as well as to prepare the General Staff and the Command in various scenarios of emergency and war in the Northern Command, which included various scenarios.

During the exercise, defense, attack & maneuver capabilities, fire strikes and intelligence were practiced in a number of sectors simultaneously, as well as over a long period of time in accordance with the changing situation.

The IDF Spokesperson emphasizes that “the exercise was planned in advance as part of the training program for 2018 and is intended to maintain the readiness and readiness of the forces,” informing us it was not the result of current events along the northern or any other borders.
