Minister of Intelligence & Transportation (Likud) Yisrael Katz, had harsh words on Thursday for Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman relating to the continuing booby-trap balloon and kite bomb cross-border attacks from Gaza.

Speaking to the media, Katz said, “How can these terror kites be continuing? Lieberman is preventing a decisive action against Hamas”.

He continued, “Certainly, if Hizbullah launched the kites over the border a war would result, so why is there compromise when it comes to Gaza instead of decisive action?”

At the time he spoke, there had already been at least ten cross-border attacks involving the balloons Thursday, leading to fires in agricultural fields along the border.
