Peleg Protesters Outside The Bnei Brak Home Of MK Gafne Again [VIDEO]

A small number of Peleg Yerushalmi-affiliated protesters were outside the Bnei Brak home of MK Moshe Gafne on Tuesday evening, the eve of 13 Menachem Av as they have done numerous times in recent weeks, as their protests have turned into a ritual, protesting the “abandonment of the yeshiva world,” as they claim, by Degel Hatorah representatives.

The teens and young men who demonstrated read Tehillim and raised signs and shouted epithets and slurs, such as “Gafni oppresses Israel” and “murderer”, along with “Gafni is working to recruit yeshiva students [into the IDF].”

After a while, the demonstrators dispersed and entered the nearby shul for maariv, davening in the Ashi Yisrael Peleg-affiliated shul.

During the demonstration, one of the extremists yelled at Kikar Shabbos correspondent Yisrael Cohen who passed by with shouts of “Shame on you, Mamzer”.

MK Moshe Gafni spoke with the reporter and encouraged him by saying that the demonstrators crossed all the permissible borders and that one should not be moved by a handful of extremists who do not represent chareidi Yiddishkeit and are working openly against the Gedolei Yisrael and Roshei Yeshivos.

  1. Just remember gafne is not on the frum side he’s on the government side.
Not everyone with a beard and payis is frum.

  2. forcing one’s view on another is so anti-Torah and these animals in black are supposedly people who learn Torah? Pheh!

  3. MS CHYMEE-

I did not say it was violent, I said to “force one’s view on another is so anti-Torah”.
In Torah you debate VERBALLY and RESPECTFULLY with others and if you are a mentsch, you even try to understand their position before criticizing it.

should we get rid of gemoras that have tosfest in it since they disagree with Rashi? NO, we must understand both sides and even so, what is halacha, we do !
