A protest is planned for Sunday evening, 3 Menachem Av, against chareidi Jerusalem Deputy Mayor Yossi Deutsch, who is accusing of working to persuade avreichim to leave the beis medrash to join the workforce.

The extremist protesters will gather outside the Satmar Beis Medrash located on Yoel Street at 7:40PM. From there, “We will march towards the homes of the criminals who are guilty of destroying Yahadut”, the flyer reads.

The extremist elements are continuing protests against chareidi elected officials, including members of the Degel Hatorah faction in Knesset, Moshe Gafne and Uri Maklev, accusing them of betraying bnei Torah by backing ongoing efforts to legislate a new draft law. Gafne has also been attacked by extremists in recent weeks. The zealots have also protested against and attacked Deputy Minister Meir Porush, also accused of betraying the chareidi tzibur.
