An Arab male tried to stab a chareidi male on HaNevi’im Street in Yerushalayim at about 1:00pm on Monday, 24 Shevat 5773. The intended victim was not injured as the attacker fled in the direction of the eastern capital. Police apprehended the suspect after a pursuit which led to Salah a-Din Street in a predominately Arab area.
Police shortly after the incident indicated it appeared to have been an attempted terror attack but this will only be determined with absolute certainty after the suspect in custody is questioned.
