In the eyes of many, statements released by Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu may be attributed to his country’s efforts to kill two birds with one stone, striking out against two enemy nations, Israel and Syria. In his perception of the attack last week against a weapons convoy heading to Lebanon from Syria, an attack attributed to Israel, the Turkish foreign minister signals this shows us an agreement exists between Israel and Syria.
Davutoglu points out that Syrian ruler Bashar al-Assad has been using his military without mercy against revolutionary army troops as well as civilians for the past 22 months. Nevertheless, after Israel bombs a weapons convoy Damascus does not respond. This he presents as Turkey’s iron clad evidence that a clandestine agreement exists between Israel and Syria.
“Why doesn’t Assad throw as much as a stone after their planes fly over his palace and compromise his integrity” questioned Davutoglu. “Why doesn’t he react when the Israeli bomb his people, innocent people” he adds.
“Is there a secret agreement between them” he questions rhetorically. He went on to label Israel an “enemy of Islam” and Syria “an enemy of Turkey”.
Davutoglu added the Israeli attack against the convoy was to Assad’s benefit as it assists him in earning support for his regime, which according to most analysts is in its final days.

And yet, Israel will bend over backwards to make nice with Turkey. Just plain STUPID!
Government decisions which are purely based on politics have nothing to do with common sense, truth and/or good for for nation. What this guy is saying as twisted as it sounds could be true!
