The former IDF soldier who was found guilty of shooting an apprehended terrorist in Chevron on March 24th, 2016 visited Chevron on Tuesday, and received a hero’s welcome from Jewish residents. Elor Azaria was recently released from prison after only serving nine months of his 18-month sentence for manslaughter and spent the day in the city where the incident that sent him to prison took place.
Dozens of teens sang “Hevron loves you!” when Azaria arrived in the city. Other supporters stopped to thank Azaria for his actions. The trip to Hebron was organized by the right-wing Otzma Yehudis group whose members include Baruch Marzel and Itamar Ben Gvir.
Azaria, was found guilty last year of killing Abdul Fatah al-Sharif, who several minutes earlier had attacked two IDF soldiers with a knife. His sentence was reduced by the IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot by four months and was further reduced by a parole board this past March.

nebach. good story for arab propaganda.
whereas it is against the law to shoot a wounded neutralized terrorist, still it is time to make a law that it a capital crime to carry out a terrorist act and the death penalty should be given plus the family should be evicted from living in greater Eretz Yisroel and shipped to Africa….
This just shows you that anyone can but a hat and jacket and call themselves ‘chareidi’ like the people in this picture. Aside from the major chillul Hashem, these people are so lost from yiddishkeit nebech. They know nothing about golus, hisgarus b’umos etc. and are endangering Jewish lives all around the world by giving honor to this rodef Yisroel.
The terrorist was not neutralized. he was seen to move, that was the problem, and I think he was wearing some sort of vest.
