Hundreds of people from Russia and abroad, arrived to participate in the last and central Sheva Brachos of Sholom Lazar, son of Russia’s Chief Rabbi, Rabbi Berel Lazar, which took place at the beautiful “Yevropeiski Banquet Hall” in the center of Moscow.
The wedding itself took place in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, and the home of the bride – daughter of Shliach Rabbi Asher Farkash, Head Mashpia at Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim in Argentina, son of the renowned Rabbi Yekusiel Farkash of Yerushalaim, and son in law of the Chasidic philanthropist Rabbi Chaim Lapidus, who stands at the helm of establishing and sustaining Torah institutions in Argentina.
Before entering the hall, the guests were invited to write a letter in the Torah scroll which will be written in honor of the bride and groom, and for the unity of Jews all over the world. Throughout the event, during the speeches, both Rabbi Lazar, and his son, the groom, as well as other esteemed speakers – all spoke about the importance of the Torah scroll in general, and of Jewish unity in particular.
Esteemed guests at the event included the families of the mechutanim, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Havlin, Chabad Rabbi of the Ramat Shlomo distict in Yerushalaim and shliach Rabbi Yehuda Teichtel, Rabbi of Berlin. The sheva brachos blessings were recited by supporters and friends of the large Jewish community of Moscow, Russia.
