After Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked resigned from the special committee addressing possible changes at the Kosel, the creation of an egalitarian prayer area, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu announced he would take care of it. Since then, PM Netanyahu has appointment close confidant Minister Yuval Steinitz to head the committee spearheading the planned change.
Unlike Shaked, who adhered to rabbinical pressure and left the committee, Steinitz sees eye-to-eye with Netanyahu, favoring the creation of an alternative prayer site at the Kosel to accommodate Reform and Conservative Jewry.
Steinitz has stated he does not have a problem with the Kosel being run by the Orthodox, but he does object to the fact that there are no accommodations for others, the Reform and Conservative. He feels “world Jewry” must be accommodated at the Kosel, which clearly includes all who view themselves as Jews, not only the frum.
The committee is expected to approve renovations in the Kosel area to create a new egalitarian prayer area over the objections of religious parties and the Chief Rabbinate of Israel.

Welcome to the 3 weeks
They are changing the meaning of the word “egalitarian”.
This word is being abused.
Whereas “egalitarian” means equally free, now it means that the evil will have their way, encroaching upon the Holy with their apikorsus.
Ah, the “modern era” of lies and deception, where fools rule the world and people applaud, has v sholom.
May Moshiach come quickly, to save us!
