No major delays are reported at New York City’s airports but passengers are advised to check with their airlines before leaving home.

The National Weather Service reports that winds gusts at LaGuardia Airport were up to 64 mph during the early morning hours.

It says a high wind warning expired at 6 a.m. Thursday. It has been replaced by a wind advisory. That means sustained winds of 30 to 39 mph or gusts of 46 to 57 mph through the afternoon hours.
