“I was shocked to hear that the government under your leadership is preparing to retract its previous decision and approve the idea of ​​the Kosel arrangement,” Yishai writes to Netanyahu.

Yishai points out the status of the Kosel as a holy site cannot be ignored, as is the case with the Southern Kosel, maintaining the same status. He speaks of how Maran was unyielding in this area, as Mr. Netanyahu is aware.
