An IDF Homefront Command training exercise is taking place this morning in Givatayim and Ramat Gan. It began at 05:30 and will continue until 13:00.

20 centimeters of snow have accumulated in the Mt. Hermon ski resort during the night. The resort is closed this morning.

The Kinneret gained an additional 4 centimeters during the past 24 hours and requires an additional 1.91 meters to reach the maximum level.

Stormy weather throughout Israel today. Snow in the north, flash floods in the south. Wet snow in Yerushalayim with strong wind gusts and cold temperatures.

A construction worker sustained moderate injuries in a fall on Armonim worksite in Kiryat Ata, Ichud Hatzalah reports.

The Lebanese media is reporting that Jordan, Lebanon and Syria have moved to higher alert following Israel’s aerial attack in Syria.

Two more patients with swine flu have been diagnosed in Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon. They are described in stable condition.

Israel is increasing security for its diplomatic facility in Turkey ahead of anniversary of assassination of senior Hizbullah commander Imad Mughniyeh.

Rock-throwing attacks between Hebron and Kiryat Arba. No injuries are being reported.
