Six residents of the Arab village of Bet Fajar in the Gush Etzion area were taken into custody in November and December 2011, security officials announced on Monday, 17 Shevat 5773. The suspects are affiliated with the Tanzim military faction of Fatah, and are allegedly connected to a shooting attack in the area of Kibbutz Migdal Ohz that took place about a half year ago.

Security officials report that the suspects have admitted to their actions during questioning that has followed their arrests. They shot at a bus traveling in the area as well as into the kibbutz. B’chasdei Hashem no one was injured by the gunfire. There were bullet holes detected on the bus. The suspects have also admitted to planning additional attacks.
