An off-duty school safety agent was injured after being shot while sitting in a car in Brooklyn.

The NYPD says police responded to East 51st Street in East Flatbush Sunday evening after receiving a 911 call about shots being fired in the vicinity.

They found the victim in the driver’s seat with a single shot to the chest. There were no other people in the car.

He was not identified.

There have been no arrests.
