A man managed to get into the baggage compartment of an El-Al plane, and write “death to the Jews” in Arabic on the cargo hold without getting caught – Ynet reports.
The discovery was reportedly made as the plane’s cargo was being unloaded at Milan’s Malpensa Airport in Italy. Italian security personnel swept the plane and surrounding areas in order to ensure the no explosives were smuggled on board the aircraft.
Sources in Milan told Ynet that it was highly likely that the hate slogans were scribbled on the plane prior to its departure from Israel – as there are no Arabic-speaking workers who had access to the aircraft.
El Al has not commented on the incident.

A horrible breach of security!
I’m surprised that El Al security is being compromised. I thought El Al was proud of their stingent security. What’s going on?Who is responsible for this poor security? The next time a person gets into the cargo of the plane they could leave a bomb.
As a member of a large aviation forum, I have learned that it is fairly common for “ramp rats” to grafitti up luggage bins with various slogans and comments about other outstations, management, etc. It definitiely did NOT happen in Milan, as it was noticed during the offloading of baggage. It’s also quite possible that this was done some time ago at a different EL AL outstation, and was not noticed until this point. It’s a needle in a haystack situation, and it will be very difficult to prove who and where it was done.
If there are no arabic-speaking workers who have access to the aircraft then who knew what it says?
