Fire officials say two firefighters were hospitalized after battling a four-alarm blaze in Brooklyn.
The fire in the three-story commercial building on Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg began just before 2 p.m. Tuesday.
The two firefighters were taken to Weill Cornell Medical Center. One of the hospitalized firefighters suffered minor injuries. The condition of the second firefighter was not immediately known.
Fire officials say at least eight other firefighters and three civilians also suffered minor injuries.
Authorities say 168 firefighters responded to the fire, which was declared under control at about 3:30 p.m. No word on the cause of the fire.
