According to Ichud (United) Hatzalah EMT Daniel Katzenstein, who was first on the scene, the 60-year-old rav of N’vei Yaakov, Yerushalayim was seriously injured as a result of a fall from a ladder on Sunday, 9 Shevat 5773.

Katzenstein reports the rav was on the ground near the ladder on the shul building site, and it was clear he sustained a serious head injury. He was transported in a MDA paramedic mobile intensive care unit ambulance, listed in serious/stable condition.
