President Trump hosted a “Celebration of America” event on Tuesday at the White House, in place of a scheduled event to honor the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles. Trump cancelled the event Monday evening, and accused the Eagles of using the event as a political issue over kneeling at during the national anthem at NFL games.
