Gaza-based terrorists continue to send burning kites over the border to start fires in Israel. On Tuesday, 22 Sivan, fires were reported in the Kissufim, Nir Am, Ein HaShloshah and Be’eri areas. There was another fire in the northwestern Negev, by Netiv HaAsarah. These are all communities in proximity to the Gaza border.

The most serious fire was near Sapir College, where flames raged out of control for some time. Students explained they have already learned to live with rockets from Gaza, but the new trend, burning kites, is a new entity.

B’chasdei Hashem there are no reports of injuries but there is property damage to farmers as well as near Sapir College.
