The “cease-fire” between the Hamas led Gaza Strip armed terrorists and Israel seems to be anything but. On Thursday, terrorists flew 12 kite-bombs over the fence with the intention of starting large wildfires in Israeli territory. The kite-bombs consisted of kites or helium balloons carrying flaming materials in them such as moltov cocktails and coals aimed at Israelis fields and forested areas.
Farmers in the Gaza periphery were shocked when the arson incidents continued after the agreed ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.
Since the morning hours, 11 large fires have been started in Israeli fields due to these kites. The fields included wheat fields, thorny areas, and sheared wheat stalks. Firefighters are caught in a never-ending battle and are being aided by security personnel from all of the towns throughout the region. The teams are attempting to prevent further spreading of the blazes and contain what has already been engulfed in flames from encroaching on more farming space, or heaven forbid from the towns.
