The state petitioned the Supreme Court to lift the ban on clearing the Bab el-Shams outpost which was established by Arabs in the E1 area last week.
The petition was filed on Tuesday, 4 Shevat 5773, as authorities wish to remove the tents set in place at the location. The people were removed from the site but there are 27 tents that remain in position.
The Arabs told the High Court on Wednesday morning 5 Shevat that the tents are for a limited time, four months, to accommodate tourism and nothing more. They added since they are tents, there is no need to receive building permits.
The court ruling is expected by the end of Wednesday.

Ridiculous.
A tourist sight? for who? and why?
Sounds like a journalism spot for foto ops.
