The Jerusalem International Book Fair (JIBF) is one of the city’s most prestigious international cultural events, City Hall boasts. First held in 1963, and biennially ever since, JIBF brings writers, publishers, editors and literary agents from around the world together in Jerusalem.
City Hall’s media release adds “The broad exchange of ideas that takes place at JIBF is a cherished tradition that adds to the flourishing and ever-increasing celebration of culture taking place in our city. While attending the fair, guests enjoy the unique atmosphere of Jerusalem; a pilgrimage destination for the three monotheistic religions, a treasure trove of historical sites and archaeological artifacts, and an eclectic, modern capital energized by its incredible residents and sense of purpose.”
The 26th Jerusalem International Book Fair will take place February 10-15, 2013.
