LC, so we’re both right- I was referring to passports issued in Israel, you were referring to those issued by embassies outside of Israel. Apparently the embassies do not have the ability to issue the biometric passport. Note that it’s relatively new, so it could be eventually the database technology would be available in embassies as well, and they would be able to issue them?
