How can the same Rabbis ask for money all over the world to get secular children into religious schools and then sign a letter instructing charedi school principals to not accept and even to throw out children from homes with internet. How can you stick out one hand to ask for money to give jewish children a Torah education and with the other hand throw out charedi children who are asking to join a charedi yeshiva???!!!!

May 23, 2018 6:49 pm at 6:49 pm #1525345JosephParticipantThe religious kids with internet can go to the same yeshivos as the irreligious kids going to religious schools go to.
Why not? If the internet parents argue their internet children won’t be a negative influence on non-internet children, then they should also be receptive that irreligious kids won’t be a bad influence on their internet children.

Do you really think your lomdus will stand foot in front of the kisei hakavod?
At the end of the day how can you claim you care about giving jewish children a Torah education when you yourself are throwing jewish children out of a Torah education???
Even if these Rabbi’s decided they have the power to pasken niduy and cherem on people bzman hazeh, since when is niduy and cherem carried out by throwing tinokos shel beis raban out of yeshiva???

All our children are currently in chinuch atzmai schools and one of the ladies there told me in a hushed breath to be very careful about what school we move our son to as our daughter’s beit yaakov will do regular checks and if they don’t like the new place we send her brother to they may want to kick her out, even though she’s been there 3 years already and is an exemplary student. She wasn’t saying it as a “vadai” but just a potential scenario to be aware of.
May 28, 2018 6:29 pm at 6:29 pm #1527727ChaverParticipantDuvidf do you have a copy of such a letter? I don’t recall seeing a letter signed by the Gedolim to kick kids out of school.
June 3, 2018 11:54 am at 11:54 am #1531402DuvidfParticipantI posted a copy of the letter twice but for some reason YWN keeps removing it. The letter was advertised in chareidi papers throughout Israel last a few weeks ago.
I deleted a link, not a letter -29
