On Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 9:20AM, the NYPD responded to a report of an unconscious person inside of 2238 Batchelder Street Apt 1D (Sheepshead Houses), located within the confines of the 61st Precinct. Upon arrival, responding officers discovered an unconscious and unresponsive 50-year-old female lying on the ground inside of the location. EMS also responded to the location and pronounced the female DOA at the scene. The Medical Examiner has ruled the death as a homicide, an the investigation is continuing.

The deceased has been identified as Pannell, Denise (51).

The following suspect has been arrested and charged as follows, in regards to the ongoing investigation.
