Israel Police officials on Tuesday, Rosh Chodesh Sivan, announced they have completed preparations for the Islamic month of Ramadan.

Police and Border Police will be out in large numbers on Friday, 4 Sivan, as well as on every Friday of Ramadan from the early morning hours. Special attention is given to the eastern capital and Old City to ensure Muslim worshipers can reach Har Habayis for prayer services.

On the Fridays of Ramadan there will be changes in traffic patterns to accommodate the worshipers heading to the Old City. One is advised to call the police traffic information number, 110.
